On Fri 29 April, we’re planning on holding our annual Joshy WOD fundraiser in honour of our good friend and strong mover, Josh Simpson, who passed away after experiencing a brain haemorrhage two years ago. This year, his lovely wife Amanda has requested that we raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), who were there to offer swift assistance during this emergency, by flying Josh down to the Royal Hobart Hospital, saving him a long drive down in the ambulance. Although, sadly, Josh’s life was not able to be saved, the speedy care of the RFDS can and does save thousands of lives in rural and remote Australia. By helping us raise money and awareness of the service of the RFDS, you will not only be honouring Josh’s memory, but you will also be helping to save lives.

We want to make this day really special, and are asking for VOLUNTEERS to help make the day a success. Some things we’ll need help with is the running of the Joshy WOD, advertising, food stalls, sponsors, items for prizes…and anything else the Joshy WOD Committee come up with!

Would you like to help out?

Thanks so much in advance for your support 🙂
