Strong Mover AWESOMENESS Spotlight time!
Today’s member spotlight shines on CrossFitter Lily F! Lily started strong moving over a year ago and when she started she experienced a lot of immobility and technical restrictions that come with our modern lifestyle. Over time, Lily has strived to perfect her movement and skill across a wide range of functional movements. Most notably, Lily has overcome her individual restrictions in her hips and ankles and now has a reasonable squat (always room for improvement hehe) but she is killing it!
At Move Strong, we enforce correct technique before adding weight or intensity. We believe in perfect movement and correcting imbalances and dysfunctions. CrossFit at Move Strong is far from the untrue stereotype that CrossFit is all about smashing your body with terrible form so that you end up injured and over-trained. We do it the right way and our Strong Movers are seeing excellent results in not just strength and conditioning, but also in form, mobility and wellness.
