Only one sleep until the Joshy WOD Fundraiser! We really hope you can support this event, and help honour Josh, his life, and the Tasmanian Royal Flying Doctor Service, by making it to the gym on the day. No rest day on Fri 29 April, ok?! 😉
We’d love to make this fundraiser wider than our humble Move Strong community – we’d love for the whole of Devonport to get on board! So please feel free to bring a friend (or two or ten!) to the fundraiser.
All from the public are welcome! Even complete beginners can do the Joshy WOD – we can always scale it, of course. Session times are: 0500, 0615, 0930, 1545 (Kids/Youth ages 5-15yo) and 1700 (depending on how many people rock up, we may run a few waves in the evening, from 5pm onwards. So if you can’t make it to the gym by 5pm, turn up when you can and we’ll slide you in for the WOD). If you or your friends are not feeling up to working out, there’s still plenty to do at the gym – there will be lots of prizes (not only for the winners, but also lucky-door prizes), sweet treats stall, Joshy merchandise stall, face-painting (3:30pm-5pm), $5 Massages (3:30pm-6:30pm), Nachos for dinner (5pm-8pm, or until sold out). All proceeds will be donated to the Tasmanian Royal Flying Doctor Service.
You can ‘join’ the event on our FaceBook events page to keep up-to-date with what’s happening on the day.
We also have an online auction currently running on our FaceBook page with 40 awesome products and services up for grabs! Go over and check it out and place some bids. The auction will end on Sat 30 April, 11am.
Thanks for your support 🙂
And we can’t forgot to say a big thank you to all our sponsors and volunteers, for donating your services, products and time to this cause. Without you guys, we would not have been able to pull this fundraiser off! Big thanks to:
