I skimped on these today as I was a little sore in the wrist and back and wasn’t happy with my technique.
B. Press
As I mentioned in my previous post, I was keen on doing the Arnold Amateur Strongman qualifier but as the stars aligned, I wasn’t ready and so didn’t go through with it. I wanted to test for 1 and 3RMs on the Press and Deadlift on this coming Saturday, but that isn’t necessary now. So I look forward to getting 2 extra weeks of training in now I’ve dropped that from my schedule. Forging my way to 100kg press by the end of the year. Next stop – 90kg for 1 and 80kg for 5!

C. 3rds of the following circuit, rotating to the next exercise every 90sec – one exercise only per round
– Chinups x 10,6,5
– Walking lunges x 20steps @ 25kg/hand
– Yates row x 10 @ 90kg
NOTE: …that’s a BULLcrap circuit! I set the clock for 4rds accidentally and was depressed at round 2 as I thought I was halfway! Thank goodness it was only 3rds! 🙂
